ESSENTIAL DUTIES: *Plan and conduct daily lessons in accordance with the curriculum and state standards *Prepare weekly plans and submit them to the administrator *Evaluate and report studentsʼ progress in accordance with local policy *Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying levels of learning among students *Maintain classroom management in accordance with school policy *Complete long-range planning to ensure all standards have been covered *Maintain up-to-date substitute folder *Keep abreast of changes in curriculum and content *Communicate with other staff members, and parents regarding all aspects of the curriculum, student performance, student behavior, etc. *Attend and participate in all faculty meetings *Attend and participate in professional development meetings, conferences, and workshops, including diocesan-scheduled events *Attend and participate in religious events, courses, and activities (e.g. Mass, prayer service) *Serve on faculty committees and teams *Be a role model for students and parents by demonstrating a Christian attitude in dealings with others *Read and comply with all policies stated in all School and Diocesan Handbooks *Safeguard confidential information as needed *Perform other essential duties as laid forth by administrative directives |

Instructional Assistants

General Maintenance and Technology Specialist
St. Michael School and Muncie Parishes

St. Michael School and the Parishes of Muncie are seeking a candidate for a full-time General Maintenance and Technology Specialist. This hands-on position will work alongside Pastorate Maintenance supporting St. Michael School, St. Francis of Assisi Parish and Newman Center, St. Lawrence Parish and St. Mary Parish.
Along with general maintenance duties, the technology duties include troubleshooting hardware, software, network infrastructure, operating systems, applications and other technology systems. Candidate should possess general maintenance skills and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with technology systems. Candidate must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, able to honor and maintain confidentiality, comfortable with the physical demands of the position, and be able to work as part of a Maintenance Team.
