A Peaceable Kingdom

Randall Thompson's groundbreaking a capella work A Peaceable Kingdom is the cornerstone of the 5-concert series taking place at 5 different churches in the Lafayette area.  It commemorates 50 years since the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Minnesota composer Stephen Paulus's A Dream of Time completes this concert, incorporating the theme of Bach's "Dona Nobis Pacem" from the great Mass in B Minor.
