Susan Hoefer, Natural Family Planning Coordinator
What is Natural Family Planning?
Natural Family Planning (NFP) is fertility awareness. A couple can then use that knowledge to either postpone or to help achieve a pregnancy. Barring any problems, men are always fertile.
Women go through phases of fertility and infertility. Modern methods of NFP teach you to identity these phases of fertility. When used correctly, NFP is 99% effective in postponing pregnancy.
Natural Family Planning class series
NFP classes will held at St. Lawrence Church in Lafayette from 10-noon on October 24, November 21 and December 12. The cost of the classes and materials is $140 plus S&H.
