The Position: The Director of Evangelization and Adult Faith Formation will be responsible for the design, maintenance and evaluation of the areas of adult religious formation and education, with a primary focus on evangelization. The applicant should be a practicing Catholic in good standing; have knowledge of and experience with Catholic doctrine and practices; and have the ability to work together with the Pastor, Parish Pastoral Team, and Volunteers. The applicant should have strong interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills.
Hiring Requirements: The applicant must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through regular participation in the sacramental life of the Church, reading of Sacred Scripture and personal prayer. The applicant must be able to produce a letter of good standing from their pastor. The applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, Religious Education, or Pastoral Ministry; a Master’s Degree is preferred. The applicant must also have experience in ministry and availability on some nights and weekends.

Pastorate Office and Facilities Manager

Business Office Assistant (part-time)

We are currently seeking candidates for a part-time Business Office (Bookkeeper) Assistant at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carmel, IN. This is a pastorate that is growing and busy with many activities and liturgies. St. Elizabeth Seton is located east of the intersection of Keystone and 106th Street. Currently, the Pastorate is pursuing applications to bring a Business Office Assistant to our pastoral team. This employee will work closely with the Director of Operations and the Pastor.
Tasks and responsibilities are varied and include:
Prepare bank deposits
Review deposits prepared by volunteer money counters
Enter all transactions into QuickBooks accounting software
Accounts Payable – Process payments for vendors either by check, ACH, or wire transfer
Prepare and process preschool tuition payments from families who pay by ACH
Reconcile checking accounts monthly and savings account quarterly
Prepare monthly financial reports for DOO
Prepare monthly financial reports for staff members responsible for a budget
Prepare year-end tax documents (1099-NEC) for independent contractors
Assist DOO with budget preparation and other financial tasks as needed
Coordinate with accounting volunteers during SetonFest

High School Youth Ministry Specialist

Coordinator of Music and Liturgy

Saint Bernard Church is seeking a Coordinator of Music and Liturgy to manage and coordinate various aspects of music, to oversee music program and grow the choirs. This person will be in charge of directing music for masses, weddings and funerals as well as the high holy days. Saint Bernard has two weekend masses in English (Sat at 5:30 pm and Sun at 9:30 AM) and the weekend responsibilities would primarily entail overseeing those masses.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent, plus related experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Knowledge and experience in Catholic liturgical music preferred.
Proficiency in voice, keyboard, guitar, or choral performance and some knowledge of these instruments.
Possess respect and ability to uphold Catholic Church teaching.

Director of Evangelization

St. Bernard Church in Crawfordsville, Indiana, is seeking a full-time Director of Evangelization. We strive to bring all souls in our county closer to Jesus Christ and His Church. This includes our college ministry at Wabash College and a growing population of Hispanics.
Essential Duties:
1. The Director will assist the Missionary Pastor with the pastoral care of the Pastorate to include fostering evangelization, pastoral planning, and supervision of staff and volunteers in the following ministry areas: Lifelong Faith Formation, Liturgy and Music, Pastoral Care and Community Care, Campus Ministry, other Parish Ministries, and Outreach.
2. The Director supports, accompanies, and equips the leaders in these areas to focus their attention on parishioners and into the community at large as they strive to facilitate making disciples of Jesus Christ, building vibrant communities of faith, and inspiring men and women to be witnesses of Christ to the world.
Education / Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Theology or related area (or equivalent experience).
At least three years of experience in parish ministry and/ or management of a non-profit organization (preferred).
Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing.
Fully committed to the Catholic Church's teaching. Mature discipleship evidenced in ability to comfortably witness the faith.
Strong ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team among clergy, staff, and volunteers.
Proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Office programs, is required.

Youth Minister (part-time)
Muncie Pastorate

The Muncie Pastorate is seeking a part time youth minister. This position reports to the Director of Evangelization. This position will serve to support the pastorate to ensure that opportunities for ongoing faith formation for middle school and high school aged youth and a comprehensive youth ministry program are provided for the pastorate. This person will work with the Pastor and Director of Evangelization to ensure that necessary collaboration and cross training occurs among all areas of ministry and discipleship.

The youth minister serves the pastorate by building and overseeing a ministry team that will support pastoral needs of the youth of the parish (Junior High and High School). Along with organizing and overseeing events and spiritual formation for the youth, the youth minister will also oversee and develop a team of volunteers who assist in youth ministry.
