We are privileged to have a monastery of Poor Clare Nuns in the heart of our diocese near Kokomo, Indiana.
They are a cloistered, contemplative community whose prayer, work and witness form their way of following Jesus in the footsteps of Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi. Their evangelical life at this time in history is a powerful witness which rebuilds and strengthens the Church.
Handpicked by the Lord they share the humble tasks of everyday living, fostering a joyful and united fraternal life based on charity, prayer, work, patience and a sense of humor.
Is God calling you or a young woman you know to learn more about their way of life?
