Camp Crux
Hosted by the Office of Vocations, Camp Crux is a Catholic adventure camp for middle school boys and girls to encounter God through the beauty of the outdoors. Camp Crux provides young people the opportunity to develop their relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.Each summer youth in our diocese have the opportunity to engage in a variety of summer formation programs around Indiana and the country. Notre Dame Vision
An initiative of the McGrath Institute for Church Life at the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame Vision is a 5-day experience on the Notre Dame campus designed to help participants discover and renew God’s call in their lives. With the rich insights of nationally-known speakers and the mentorship of active college students, in large group sessions and in small faith-sharing peer groups, Notre Dame Vision gives you the space and community to ask big questions about how God is calling you to use your talents in service to the Church and world.
One Bread, One Cup
One Bread, One Cup is a five-day liturgical leadership conference at St. Meinrad Archabbey focusing on the Word, Sacrament and Mission of the Roman Catholic Church for high school youth groups and their campus and youth ministers. Conferences focus on community building, leadership development, catechesis, liturgical and spiritual formation, and theological reflection.
Missionary Discipleship Institute
Hosted by Marian University, MDI is for students who are passionate about living their faith and are seeking new ways to serve as missionaries in their communities through the church.
Embody Summer Theology Institute
High school girls are invited to Saint Mary’s College to develop their faith through theological instruction, reflection and discussion, and interactive learning projects; engage in service locally to learn about the issues that challenge many of our neighbors; and understand how to live out all that they have learned.
Saints & Scholars
Hosted by Holy Cross College, Saints & Scholars Summer Theology Institute is a one-week, pre-college program that provides 80 high school students each year the opportunity to live on a college campus and benefit from the peer mentorship of select Holy Cross College students; participate in lively seminar discussions that are rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition and guided by faculty from Holy Cross College and the University of Notre Dame; serve community organizations related to their area of interest; and share community-building experiences with students from around the country.
Light of the World
Sponsored by the Catholic University of America, Light the World is a chance for high school students to investigate, research, and learn how faith and culture interact with everyday activities. Each day we witness how this is achieved at a locale in D.C. Students witness faithful excellence in action in business, science, politics, sports, and the arts. Visiting places such as the Capitol, National Gallery of Art, and D.C.'s professional baseball stadium and hearing from people who have achieved success in those realms talk about how faith intersects with those activities.
Steubenville Conferences
Steubenville Youth Conferences is an outreach of Franciscan University of Steubenville. These conferences for rising 9th graders to graduated seniors allow teens to experience the life-changing love of Christ and be strengthened in their journey of discipleship alongside thousands of Catholics from around the world. Teens experience dynamic speakers, vibrant liturgies, opportunities for Reconciliation, and powerful Eucharistic Adoration. There are four weekend-long conferences every summer on Franciscan University's main campus in Steubenville, Ohio, and over 14 others offered around the country including two in St. Louis.
